At Green Squared, we always value community service and can't help but collaborate with great community lovers to do something which can benefit the society. Here are some of the events we participated in recent times.
02: General Federation of Woman's Club
In September of 2021, I had the incredible privilege of meeting Rosie Mustic, who, at the time, served as the President of the Idaho Female Veterans Network. We met to talk about the heartfelt vigil she was organizing in honor of Vanessa Guillén and how we could contribute to the cause.
Vanessa's tragic story illuminated the surreptitious issue of sexual misconduct in the military, and Rosie's dedication to raising awareness and empowering women to seek help and support profoundly moved me.

It is deeply distressing to contemplate that Vanessa, like numerous others, endured her suffering in silence out of fear of retaliation. However, the collective voice of soldiers on social media, united under the #IAmVanessaGuillen movement, brought about tangible change. In late 2021, Congress passed the I am Vanessa Guillén Act, a crucial step towards justice.
This legislation now requires an independent prosecutor to investigate cases of sexual assault and harassment within the military.
Since then, Rosie has continued her tireless efforts, including raising awareness and support for DAV (Disabled American Veterans), actively participating in the Marine Corps League, and engaging with the nationwide GFWC (General Federation of Woman's Club).
In February, Rosie shared invaluable information during Heart Health Month, reminding us all to prioritize our well-being and to hold dear the things and people that are important to us.
